A Community Meal at the Blue Table

West Willow youth and seniors will host a community meal during the summer in the neighborhood. Gathering at the table, which includes fresh fruits and vegetables, of the community's own harvest is about much more than the meal.

Whoever is at the table may change, but its significance remains the same. Wherever the community table is, however it looks — the thing that matters most is the way it brings everyone in the neighborhood together. 

It’s a time to celebrate family, community, generosity, and giving! We can gather at the table, telling stories and strengthening our trust in each other. A gathering at the table even opens up space to share a bit of grace too.
